Ive never been invited to my best friends house?

Hey. I wouldn't worry about it. I have been a quiet and reserved person all throughout my life. When I was in Cross Country in High School, some teammates would hold cross country parties at their houses, particularly bond fire parties. I would always hear about them but I was never personally invited to any of them. My mother also asked me why I wasn't invited to one she heard about by "accidentally eavesdropping". I said I had no idea why. They were supposed to Cross Country parties but not all the members were invited. Never made sense to me. I have no idea why I was never invited to any of them but I really don't care. It was probably a drunk fest or something because there were teammates that would drink and get drunk. I also do not know if I was the only one not invited. I doubt it but who knows. It could also have been because I was quiet and they probably figured that it wouldn't be worth my time to me. Back then (2 years ago) it bothered me but looking back I really don't care anymore. It bothered me because I was a part of the team and by not being invited, it felt that I don't exist or isn't a big part of the team. I wasn't there to impress anybody. I was there for a good time. The morale of the story is to don't worry about not being invited to parties or other people's houses in your case. To me, all parties were just a click fest. And if you weren't never sociable, then you would have no chance being invited. But I've been out of high school for a year now but looking back I realized that everything happens for a reason which you should think about in your situation. It's out of your control. Good luck!!
