Im looking at buying a new camcorder my hitachi dvd cam?

as broken down .. so i need new camcorder..im not sure if ill get mini disc dvd again, short recording time 30 mins,,and to many disc erars.any body recomend a good cheap camcorder a workhorse of a camcorder about 150 quid new, what about sd card camcorders is this the way ro go,seem to be quite cheap,must be quite simply to put onto dvd and yreliable,, thanks
