Help with latitude and longitude?

The latitude is the distance in degrees from the equator. Longitude is determined by an arbitrary line that runs from the poles through the observatory in Greenwich, England and is the amount east or west from that line (the prime meridian). Degrees are further divided into minutes ('), which are each one sixtieth of a degree and seconds (") which are one sixtieth of a minute or one 360th of a degree.
