Hi! Could someone check mu translation, cause mu language falls into slavic group. Thanks a lot!?
On the free eco-phone 075/142-525 of the Ecological society „Ecolog” a citizen reported tree cutting at the Polovo's Airport. He alleged that around 20 pine trees had been cut down, planted since the airport was built. He asked the airport officials for cutting permit on which they advised him to submit a written request. However the tree cutting was stopped when he informed them that he called the eco-phone. Than, the Ecological society “Ecolog” through the Ecologists’ Movement of Macedonia made the demanded request and sent it to the Polovo's Airport. After a short while we received a copy of the permit in which were explained the causes why the pine trees were being cut down. Actually the permit was obtained from the Civil Aviation Authority of Macedonia and the Public Enterprise "Macedonian Forests". It was explained that it was necessary because of damaged, dying or either hazardous trees endangering the property around them. Also a part of the green belt had reduced the visibility from the control tower. We ured that the emergency for tree cutting was justified but will ask from the Airport 40 new trees to be planted. Anyway it’s their legal obligation.
